Margarita Manda

The preference of Margarita MANDA (1963, Greece) for minimal camera movement and meticulously composed scenes, which can also be seen in Forever, seems to be influenced by her cooperation with the great Czech photographer Josef Koudelka and her work as assistant director for the internationally celebrated Greek filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos (1935-2012). After directing short films, documentaries and visual material for the Olympic Games in Athens (2004), she made her debut in 2009 with Gold Dust.
