Malgoska Szumowska

Malgoska SZUMOWSKA (1973, Poland) studied at the Polish Film School in Lódz. Her student films have regularly won prizes. Her first feature Happy Man (2000), also shown in Rotterdam, was nominated for the Felix, the European Award for Best Début Feature. The film was also selected for Variety's list of 10 Best Films of 2001. Her other features have been screened at festivals all over the world.
