Maite Abella
Maite ABELLA (1966, Spain) attended Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting. In 2001 she was nominated for the Buning Brongers Award for painting and in 2003 she received The Starters stipend Dutch National Foundation for the Arts. Since 2000 Abella makes short films and site-specific projects in the public space.
