Luis Recoder

Sandra Gibson and Luis Recoder have shown their collaborative film installations and performances ever since they met at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2000. Recoder works without a camera, focusing on light effect directly on film. Sandra Gibson focuses on the materiality of film and its emulsion, The objectification of film as matter and the matter of objectifying go hand in hand, catch one another.
