      Lola Bessis

      Screenwriter, director and actress Lola BESSIS (France) made her first short film at the age of thirteen. She attended UCL in London, NYU and the New School in New York, where she met Ruben Amar. Together they founded the production company Les Films de la Fusée. The multi-awarded short Checkpoint (2011) was their first co-production. Bessis is co-director of Swim Little Fish Swim (2014), in which she also plays the part of Lilas.
