Lee Kung Lok
LEE Kung Lok worked as an assistant director in television and in the Hong Kong film industry for the first eight years of his career, before forming the independent production company Red Flag Productions with director Wong Ching Po. In 2003 they co-directed Fu bo, an almost experimental film with several narrative strands, which earned them international recognition. The film went to numerous film festivals, e.g. Pusan, Hong Kong, Vancouver, Munich and Rome. Important themes in his films are survival and fate.
