Laura Huertas Millán
Laura Huertas MILLAN (France/Colombia) is an artist and filmmaker. She studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris and Le Fresnoy before going on to complete a PhD on “ethnographic fictions” at PSL University and Harvard. Her films have been shown at art venues as well as cinemas and film festivals. Black Sun (2016) received two honourable mentions (FIDMarseille, DocLisboa) and won Best Short Film at Fronteira and MIDBO. Her short films have also been selected at IFFR, TIFF, Locarno, Cinéma du Réel, Torino, FICUNAM and the Flaherty Seminar.
