Korakrit ARUNANONDCHAI (1986, Thailand) is a video and multimedia artist based in New York and Bangkok. He acquired a Bachelor's Degree from Rhode Island School of Design and received a Master's in Fine Art from Columbia University. Arunanondchai was also educated at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine. As an artist and filmmaker, he has a worldwide range of screenings, solo and group exhibitions and performances. In 2018, Arunanondchai received the Ammodo Tiger Short Award at IFFR for With History in a Room Filled with People with Funny Names 4 (2017), the fourth entry in his ongoing film series Together with History in a Room Filled with People with Funny Names. Also in 2018, he launched a Bangkok video-art festival with the inaugural event Ghost: 2561, highlighting the connections between Thailand's strong tradition of animism and contemporary art.
