KOGONADA (Seoul, South Korea) is a largely anonymous filmmaker who moved to the United States as a child, and became famous for his video essays or supercuts about the work of well-known directors like Vince Gilligan and Stanley Kubrick. He is also a regular contributor to the magazine <em>Sight &amp; Sound</em>. His first feature film is <strong>Columbus </strong>(2017), shot in Columbus, Indiana.
