Kirill Mikhanovsky

Kirill MIKHANOVSKY (Moscow, Russia) migrated with his family to the United States when he was a teenager. At the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, he began acting in short films made by fellow students. Soon he made his first short film Terra Terra, which was invited to several film festivals. He wrote or edited several other shorts e.g. Dead Roosters and Martillo. Inhale, Exhale, the short documentary Mikhanovsky directed in 2002 received the Audience Award at the NYU Showcase at the Directors Guild of America. Fish Dreams is his first feature film.
