Kimberly Peirce
Kimberly Peirce (1967, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) studied English and Japanese literature in New York and graduated with a screenplay about Brandon Teenia, that formed the basis for this film. She was film critic and in 1993 she made her first short film, The Last Good Breath, that was screened last year in Locarno.
