Kenzie SUTTON (USA) is an animation director and artist based in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated in Animation from of Maryland Institute College of Art and continued her MFA degree in Experimental Animation at California Institute of the Arts. Her thesis film Harls (2018) won Best in Show at the MICA Animation Festival. She’s interested in dark, observational comedy and the ephemeral nature of tangible objects. Her films have screened in festivals both nationally and internationally. She is also known for her work on the Oscar-nominated feature film Loving Vincent (2017) and as a puppet fabricator on the Netflix film Alien Xmas (2020). When she isn’t working on films she likes to paint, build kinetic toys, and roller skate.
