Ken Loach

Ken Loach (Nuneaton, England, 1936) is one of the most prominent of British directors. He started in the early sixties directing the cops' series ZCars with the BBC. Since his ultra realistic feature début Poor Cow (1967) his name has been synonymous with socially committed British cinema.
