Katrien Vanagt

Katrien VANAGT (1977, Belgium) studied Romance Philology, and Cultural and Intellectual History of the Renaissance in Ghent, Paris and London. In one of her research projects, Vanagt reconstructed historical experiments dealing with eyes and the camera obscura. The film In Waking Hours, which she made with her niece, filmmaker and artist Sarah Vanagt, is based on these experiments.
