Kaat Beels

Kaat BEELS (1974, Belgium) was educated at the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. Bedtime Stories (1997), her first short film and her graduation film, won her the Sabam award at the Brussels film festival in 1998. Her first feature film was Swooni, which was released in 2011. Together with Nathalie Basteyns she co-directed the TV series Jes (2009), Clan (2012) and also Beau Séjour (2017), which is being shown at IFFR 2017.
