Juno MAK (1984, Hong Kong) is a versatile man: he was a succesful Cantopop singer - a subgenre in Chinese pop music- launched his own clothing brand in 2007 and has acted in films, such as Dream Home (Pang Ho-cheung, 2010) and Revenge: A Love Story (Wong Ching-po, 2010) . Rigor Mortis (2013) is his directing debut.

A film star tries to put an end to it all in his dingy old flat, but fails: the building contains enough ghosts already. This mysterious, grim film may be director Mak's feature debut, but the whole of Hong Kong's impressive genre history can be felt throughout.
