Julio Medem

Julio MEDEM (1958, San Sebastian) became interested in film at the age of 18 and went on to make several short Super-8 films. After studying medicine and surgery, he started making short 16mm films. His first full-length feature, Cows (1992), was an international success with audiences and critics. For 7 Days in Havana (2012), an omnibus film about Havana in seven chapters, Medem directed the short film La tentación de Cecilia.
