João Salaviza

João SALAVIZA (1984, Portugal) works mainly as a film editor for cinema and television. He studied Filmmaking with a major in editing at the theatre and film school in Lisbon and went on to complete his film studies at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. Arena (2009), his second short film, received a Golden Palm in Cannes in 2009 and his film Rafa (2012) was awarded a Golden Bear. Montanha (2015) is his feature film debut.
