Josef Fares
Josef FARES (1977, Lebanon) moved in 1987 with his family from Lebanon to Sweden. At the age of 15, he started making video films. He has made more than 50. At the age of 21, he became the youngest student ever at the Dramatiske Institutet Film School. His début feature Jalla ! Jalla ! (2000) was a hit at IFFR in 2001 and was awarded at festivals all over the world. Leo (2007) opened the Stockholm International Film Festival in 2007.
