Jorge Sanjinés

Jorge Sanjinés (1936, La Paz) studied philosophy, and then film at the University of Santiago de Chile (1958-60). After returning to Bolivia he acquired his training in the documentary school that emerged just prior to the nationalist revolution of 1952. As early as his short film Sueños y realidades, he experimented with the mixture of fiction and documentary that was to be his trademark.
