Jim Loach

Jim LOACH (1969, UK) studied Philosophy and joined the BBC as a researcher. Since 1996 he has directed episodes for several TV series. Recent credits include Victoria, the critically acclaimed Life of Crime and Tin Star, starring Tim Roth and Christina Hendricks. His debut feature Oranges and Sunshine (2010) was nominated for the Hitchcock D'Or and seven AACTA awards in Australia. His most recent feature Measure of a Man (2018) written by David Scearce, based on the 1977 novel One Fat Summer by Robert Lipsyte, had its European premiere in Rome.
