Jesse de Jong
Jesse de Jong (1972, the Netherlands) graduated in 1999 at the Dutch Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam. His thesis film The Empty Nest was awarded the Tuschinski Award in 1999. For his short film An Intens Realistic Yet Romantic Love Story Jesse received a Golden Calf in 2000 at the Netherlands Film Festival. Heavenly Life on Earth is Jesse de Jong’s first full-length film. The film had its world premiere at the Rotterdam film festival in 2010.
