Javier Rebollo
The Dead Man and Being Happy (2012) is the third feature film of Javier REBOLLO (b. 1969, Spain). His first feature, Lo que sé de Lola, premiered at the San Sebastian International Film Festival in 2006. From 1990 to 1994, Rebollo was personal assistant to filmmaker Antonio Drove. In 1996 Rebollo co-founded Lolita Films, which has produced all his short films and television documentaries. Rebollo has been a member of Spain’s National Film Academy since 1997 and also works as a teacher and lecturer in Spain and France.
