Jan Bark

Jan BARK (1934-2012, Sweden) was a trombonist and composer. He studied music at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Jan Bark has collaborated on several projects with artists like Folke Rabe and Erkki Kurenniemi. In 1963 he co-founded Kulturkvartetten, a group of four trombonists who performed their own theatrical compositions. Later he co-founded the Nye Kulturkvartetten , a group with an intermedial perspective that existed from 1983 to 1997. Jan Bark was also a teacher.
