Jakob Lass

Jakob LASS (1981, Germany) has American-Czech origins, and lives and works in Berlin. He is affiliated wih the independent film school Filmarche Kreuzgerg and was trained as an actor. Since 2009, he has studied Film Directing at the Potsdam-Babelsberg University. Lass participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2008 with Bademeister Paul. After a number of short films, he made his feature film debut in 2011 with Frontalwatte. Love Steaks (2013) won him four Neue Deutsche Kino Awards.
