Jairo Boisier Olave

Jairo BOISIER OLAVE (1975, Talcahuano, Chile) has both the French and Chilean nationality. He studied Sociology but after graduating he got interested in filmmaking. He moves to Valencia (Spain) to follow screenwriting courses, and completed his training in France. In 2007 he completes his first short film El nuova and Vestido in 2008. The last one has been shown in 25 international filmfestivals all over the world. He now teaches screenwriting and other filmcourses in Chili. The Retired (2011) is his first feature film.
