Iwai Chikara

IWAI Chikara (1977, Japan) was educated at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Iwai has made several art projects in which he combines visual aspects with sound. His works refer to the particular phenomenon derived from 'Recordings and recorded plate or media'. He also creates PVs and short films for musicians in Japan and abroad.The documentary Kikoe (2008), about the Japanese musician Otomo Yoshihide, is Iwai's first feature-length film.
