Inger Lise Hansen

Inger Lise HANSEN (1963, Norway) is a visual artist with a background in experimental film and animation. She was educated in Fine Art at the University of East London and the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and received a Master of Fine Art in Filmmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1996. Since the 1990s her work has been shown in leading international institutions and galleries. She has received a number of prizes from film festivals including Vienna Independent Shorts and International Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen. Travelling Fields was nominated for a Tiger Short Award at IFFR in 2010. It is the third film in a trilogy, following Proximity (2006) and Parallax (2009). In 2018 she returns to Rotterdam with TÅKE.
