Ichii Masahide

ICHII Masahide had been bent on becoming a comedian since his university days when he belonged to a trio called Higedanshaku/The Bearded Baron. After quitting the trio, he joined the Tokyo Kandenchi theatre company as a student actor. In 2003 he attended the Enbu Seminar and began writing screenplays based on his experience writing scripts for comedy routines. Dog Days Dream, his feature debut, won the Runner-Up Award and the Best Technical Award at the 2006 PIA Film Festival.
