Ho Yuhang

HO Yuhang (1971, Malaysia) was originally trained as an engineer and learned filmmaking in the television advertising industry. He has directed several independent short and feature films and documentaries that were received with international critical acclaim. As I Lay Dying (2007) won a Tiger Award for Short Films at IFFR in 2008. In 2010, Ho participated in the IFFR Cinema Reloaded initiative with his 'Untitled Project'.

Ho Yuhang at IFFR



Project of fifteen short films, made by the new generation of Malaysian film makers. In a couple of minutes, they posit their vision of today's Malaysia. Among them is Yasmin Ahmad, who died suddenly in 2009, and who in her film comments on racial segregation.
