Hiroki Ryuichi

HIROKI Ryuichi (1955, Kohriyama, Japan) started his film career as assistant director and trained with director Geniji Nakanura. His first film, Catch the Woman Out (1982), was well received. In 1995, the Rotterdam Festival showed two of his video films, Sadistic City and Evil Dream, in the thematic programme Pink Pictures from Japan. Currently, Hiroki is one of the most productive Japanese film directors.
