Heddy Honigmann

Heddy HONIGMANN (1951, Peru) has been one of the most famous documentary makers in the Netherlands since 1979. Her widely screened documentaries and short and feature films have won many awards including two Golden Calves. Her work has been exhibited in retrospective in for instance Toronto, Paris and the MoMA in New York. Honingmann's features Mindshadows (1987) and Au Revoir (1995) are regarded as Dutch classics. The strength and vitality of memory are central themes in her work.
