Hasabie Kidanu

Hasabie KIDANU grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethopia, and the massive infrastructural transformation the city is experiencing heavily influences her work. She wishes to create fictional landscapes that are under the pressure of being constantly in flux. Kidanu completed a BA in art history at the University of North Carolina and an MFA from Yale School of Art. In 2018 she became a resident of the Jan van Eyck Academie.
