Hao Jie

HAO Jie (b. 1981, China) had his education at the film academy in Peking. His debut film Single Man, a sex comedy about a bunch of aged but certainly not exhausted country folk, was an international success. He earned the special jury prize and the Kodak Vision Award for it in Tokyo and the NETPAC Easter Jet Award in Jeonju. The Love Songs of Tiedan is his second feature.
