Hans SCHEUGL (1940, Vienna) studied film at the Akademie für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna and has been an independent film maker since 1966. He has also been active as cameraman for other film makers. From 1964 he worked for the magazines Caligari and Film and he was one of the founders of the Austria Filmmakers Cooperative. With Ernst Schmidt Jr he wrote Eine Subgeschichte des Films.
