Hans Heijnen
Hans Heijnen (b. 1957, Sittard, Netherlands) graduated in 1985 from the Film Academy and has made dozens of documentaries for NPS and VPRO TV as a freelance documentary maker. In 1996 he was given the Golden Calf, the special jury prize, at the Netherlands Film Festival for three of his documentaries. Since 1994, Heijnen has focused increasingly on producing documentaries himself.
