Gustavo Pizzi

Gustavo PIZZI (1977, Brazil) graduated in Film from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro. In 2006, he made his first documentary Simple Past, about Rio de Janeiro’s most famous brothels. Pizzi wrote the screenplay of his debut feature Craft (2011) together with his wife, actress Karine Teles, who also plays the main lead. For this film, they won the award for Best Screenplay at the Gramado Film Festival. For Pizzi's family drama film Loveling (2017), they collaborated the same way. Pizzi has also worked as a producer.
