Giorgio CUGNO (1979, Italy) is an actor, director and screenwriter. He studied direction and sculpture at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, after which he followed his interest in art and film by exploring the relationship between fiction and documentary. He has directed and produced short films, and starred in his directorial feature debut Vacuum (2012), which won four prizes including the Jury Award at the Lecce Festival of European Cinema and was screened around the world, including at Göteborg International Film Festival and Tbilisi International Film Festival. Alien Food (2023) has its world premiere at IFFR 2023.
