Fernando Eimbcke

Fernando EIMBCKE (1970, Mexico) studied at the University Centre of Cinematographic Studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has directed numerous music videos and short films. With his feature debut, Duck Season (2004), Eimbcke won seven Mayahuel Awards at the Guadalajara Mexican and Iberoamerican Film Festival. His second film, Lake Tahoe, was awarded the FIPRESCI prize in Berlin. Club Sándwich is his third film, and was elected Best Film at the Torino Film Festival.
