Eva Neymann

Eva NEYMANN (1974, Saporozhje, Ukraine) studied law before pursuing film directing at the DFFB in Berlin. She worked as an assistant to Kira Muratova and has made some short films, three of them shot in Odessa. Afterwards she started working with Friedrich Gorenstein (1932-2002), writer of Tarkovki’s Solaris, on the book At the River after two of his short stories. At the River is her first feature film.
