Ester Martin BERGSMARK trained at the Biskops Arnö Nordens Folkhögskolade and the Swedish University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. Together with Mark Hammarberg, Bergsmark made the award-winning documentary Maggie in Wonderland (2008). In 2010 Bergsmark made Fruitcake as part of the experimental feminist porn suite Dirty Diaries. She Male Snails (2012), won the Audience Award, Prize for Best Cinematography and Honorary Mention for Best Nordic Film at the Gothenburg International Film Festival. Something Must break (2014), world premiere in Gothenburg, was screened at over 50 film festivals all over the world and won many awards, including a Hivos Tiger Award.
