Eileen Hofer

Eileen HOFER (1976, Switzerland) studied Literature and the History of Cinema. She worked as a press officer for a film festival, as a journalist for a Swiss daily newspaper, and as chief editor of a Swiss magazine before taking part in the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2004. After that she directed several prize-winning short films. He Was a Giant with Brown Eyes, her debut as a feature filmmaker, had its world premiere in Rotterdam in 2012.
