Deimantas NARKEVICIUS (1964, Utena, Lithuania) is a conceptual artist, art critic and exhibition curator. He makes film and video productions which place individuals and their history at the centre, often using close ups to capture his observations. Narkevicius is one of the most consistent and widely recognised Lithuanian artists in the international art scene. His works has been exhibited at contemporary art venues worldwide including the Centre Pompidou (Paris), Museo Nacional Centro De Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), Tate Modern (London), Museum of Modern Art (New York) and Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam).
