Daniel Jacoby at IFFR
Daniel JACOBY (1985, Peru) is a director and artist who graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and furthered his education at the Städelschule in Frankfurt. His work has been exhibited at the Fundació Joan Miró, EYE Film Institute, Kunsthal Chalottenborg, Palais de Tokyo, Casino Luxembourg and the 11th Cuenca Biennial in Ecuador. Should Auld Acquaintance be Forgot (2010), his first foray into filmmaking, and his subsequent shorts have been selected at many international festivals. Jacoby won a Tiger Short Award for Mountain Plain Mountain (2018), which he co-directed with Yu Araki. He returns to IFFR's Ammodo Tiger Short Competition in 2019 with Nehemías.
