Daniel Hoesl
Still: DavosDaniel HOESL (1982, Austria) studied in Salzburg, Vienna and at FAMU in Prague. After working in the arts for a while, he began working for filmmakers such as Ulrich Seidl (on his Paradise trilogy) and Michael Glawogger. Hoesl is interested in radical concepts, in a narrative and aesthetic way. He is founder of the production company/film collective A European Film Conspiracy, with which he made his feature debut, Soldier Jane (2013). His feature WINWIN was made in 2016. The documentary Davos (2020) is a co-directorship by Julia Niemann and Daniel Hoesl.
