Clément Cogitore

Clément COGITORE (1983, France) is a French artist and filmmaker known for his work in film, video, photography and animation. He studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Strasbourg and at Le Fresnoy-Studio national des arts contemporains. Cogitore's work has been shown at the Palais de Tokyo, Centre Georges Pompidou, ICA in London, Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, MACRO in Rome, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MoMA, MNBA, SeMA Bunker, Red Brick Art Museum in Beijing and Kunsthaus in Basel. In 2018, Clément Cogitore was awarded the prestigious Marcel Duchamp Prize for Contemporary Art.
