Claudia Sainte-Luce

Claudia SAINTE-LUCE (1982, Mexico) was born in Veracruz and graduated in visual arts from the University of Guadalajara. She made some short films and worked as an assistant director for various Mexican films. Her feature debut The Amazing Catfish was already awarded while still in pre-production. It premiered in the Cineasti del presente competition of the Locarno Film Festival. Since then, the film has won the FIPRESCI prize in Toronto. The main actresses have also received multiple awards.
