Chusy
Venezuelan filmmaker CHUSY attended the Director's Program at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, California and received an MFA in Directing. His first film, Anywhere USA (2008), won the Special Jury Prize at Sundance, awarded by a Quentin Tarantino-led jury. He was asked to present a work-in-progress version of his documentary film Gigante (2017) as part of a TED talk he gave in San Francisco. The documentary film It All Begins with a Song: The Story of the Nashville Songwriter (2018) had a special public screening at the Nashville Film Festival. The film was awarded three Silver Lions at Cannes.
