Christopher Makoto Yogi
Christopher Makoto YOGI was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated with an MFA in Cinematic Arts from USC School of Cinematic Arts. Layover,
on the Shore (2009), his short thesis film, was awarded Best Hawaiian Short at
the Big island Film Festival. Yogi also has extensive
experience editing documentaries for film and television. His work has been
nominated for an Emmy, a GLAAD award, and he has been awarded a Student Academy
Award. August at Akiko's (2018), world premiere at IFFR, is his debut feature
film.
