Camilo Cavalcante

Camilo CAVALCANTE (Recife, 1974) studied journalism at the University of Pernambuco and finished his course in screenwriting at San Antonio de Los Baños International Film and TV School in Cuba in 1996. His short films have won him countless awards (over 120) at film festivals around the world. Together with Cláudio Assis (Bog of Beasts, Rat Fever) he made the road movie documentary Eu vou de volta (2007). Cavalcante also works as a director of theatre plays, and wrote a manifesto entitled Cinemacabradapeste. The History of Eternity is his first feature film.
